Mark Wahlberg hints at multiple Transformer movies in the pipeline

Actor Mark Wahlberg, an individual who has turned himself into a box office guarantee if ever there has been one in the television and film industry was talking about his upcoming movie "Transformers: Age of Extinction" which is the fourth instalment of the Transformers franchise. He noted that this movie was a stand alone movie as it really did not connect to the Transformers 3 movie which surprised some entertainment insiders until he disclosed that he signed with Paramount for Transformers 4 with the expectation on both their side and himself that this will be one of several Transformer movies that he will be starring in.

Having Mark Wahlberg as the leading man in the movie is almost the equivalent of guaranteeing this large budget movie success at the box office because whether it is television or movies he seems to have the midas-touch in bringing viewers to his projects. His most recent television projects, "Entourage" and "Boardwalk Empire" have been huge HBO television hits and despite the media complaints the ratings were high throughout.
It is almost foolhardy to attempt to question his movie appeal as he has a string of box office hits from the recent movie "2 Guns" in which he starred withDenzel Washington, "Pain & Gain", "The Fighter" and all the way back to "Boogie Nights". As such the Paramount studio's decision to make Mark Wahlberg their next "Transformer" franchise star makes very good sense because viewers love him on screen both for his rock hard physique and his presence on the screen. Movie studio executives and directors cannot get enough of him because he embraces his roles and commits without hesitation.
