Raising Hope is entering the danger zone.
Musician Kenny Loggins is set to make a guest appearance in the Fox hit sitcom's season four finale, E! News has exclusively learned.
Loggins, will appear as himself in the episode, slated to air Friday, April 4th.
And fans of the "Danger Zone" and "Footloose" singer will be happy to hear that Loggins will also be performing in the episode, playing "Danny's Song," his hit song from 1971, which has a special significance on Raising Hope.
Longtime fans of the series will remember that "Danny's Song" is the tune Virginia (Martha Plimpton) sang to Hope in the pilot episode four years ago. Yeah, the scene still makes us tear up!
Though he recently lent his vocal talents on FX's animated hit Archer, Raising Hope marks Loggins' first acting appearance since he guest starred on Dharma & Greg in 1999.
Also set to appear in the finale? Returning guest star Jeffrey Tambor, who will reprise his role as Virginia's father and returns with a very big request for the Chance family.
Raising Hope airs Fridays at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
